Summer Sweaters

In the season of taking clothes off, why would you possibly need a sweater? As the temperature rises outside, the AC cranks inside and the temperature drops. Having another layer to guard you from the chill is a must this time of year. So take your light sweaters out of storage and the back of your closet and wear them stylishly. I got tons of compliments the first time I wore this outfit to work.

For my birthday, my Mom suggested we go clothes shopping together. This sweater and layered necklace are the result. I'm sure it is unhealthy to love inanimate objects like clothes... but I LOVE this sweater!  I'm sure you can see why.

Another favorite from my summer sweater collection is below. The open knit, silver grey color, and off the shoulder style just make me happy. These features also make this a very versatile addition to my summer wardrobe. Worn here over the same black ensemble from above, this sweater looks great with jeans and a t-shirt, shorts, dresses, skirts, or capris.  I'll admit, it's not the warmest sweater I have, which is exactly why its such a great summer staple.
